I was just wondering because I don’t listen to the radio anymore because the constant talking from the DJs just drives me round the twist.
Fair enough if it’s a talk radio station and people want to hear them talking but on music stations I just don’t understand it, especially in the mornings when they ramble on and seem to think they’re so funny.
Does anyone like them?
Talking, adverts & rubbish music are pet hates of mine. Where I am, there’s a whole radio station dedicated to this. ALL the DJ’s insist on talking – I think "loving the sound of your own voice" must be a requirement in their contracts.

I totally agree. Morons who love the sound of their own voices and talk incessant drivel. I gave up listening to music stations for this reason and only listen to talk radio where the hosts tend to be a lot more intelligent.

If they’re funny.
Like Hamish&Andy, I could listen to them talking non-stop.

Depends on the DJ. If they’re funny, it doesn’t bother me. If they’re not, then I turn off the radio. Luckily, morning radio where I live isn’t too bad.

No that’s why I have Yahoo radio on. It’s under Yahoo music.

Enough people must like it, or at least put up with it, to keep the radio stations in business.
