I often listen to online radio stations. How to record some part of the online radio? Are there any free softwares available to help me record and save songs I hear from online radio?

i remember a very early version of realplayer pro had a record button. it sucked. didn’t even work properly.

i’m guessing it’s very difficult to capture audio streams, but i have come across 96kbps mp3 files that were created from streams and they sound fine, so it’s kinda possible.

you may check on http://www.pcworld.com for recording freeware, some of them are able to record stream. another way is connect your audio output jack to input jack, then use any recording software, event voice recorder of windows, to record it.
