Vancouver oldies radio stations?

Posted by admin on June 7th, 2010 and filed under oldies radio | 4 Comments »

I always listen to CISL 650am for oldies, however I am trying to find a few more good ones in the area to "fall back on" when CISL has talk airing (Saturday Morning).

I tried 104.9 CFUN oldies. However, I just am not a big fan of this station. They seem to be a little too "flashy" with their hosts and on-air spots.

Are there any other good oldies radio station in Vancouver to listen to?

I listen in the car, so no internet radio please!
97.3fm Seattle swiched to talk.

When I used to live in Vancouver I listened to Classic Rock 101 a lot.

Not many. They seem to have evaporated and turned into round the clock traffic reports or other equally blah things. I wind up listening to CBC most of the time.

You would know better than me since you live there and I live in Winnipeg, but yes CISL 650 is a great oldies station, I listen to it online a lot.
You may be able to receive KARY 100.9 FM Grandview, WA Oldies
Or 880am KIXI out of Seattle WA. Oldies

Depends where you are and the reception one of the best oldie stations I ever heard was Seattle 97.3
You can also get this online.
The best yet is Satellite radio, channels 5, 6 & 7
