How to record a streaming radio show when you’re gone?

Posted by admin on October 1st, 2011 and filed under streaming radio | 2 Comments »

I love listening to Joe and the Poorboy on the radio, but it’s on from 6 am – 10 am which is when I’m at school. Does anybody know how to record it so I can listen when I get home?

Hi, as far as I know, there is a streaming audio recorder which can record any streaming radio playing on your computer. You only need to click on button to start to record streaming radio. Let it record and click off button until 10 am. The pity is that it doesn’t have time scheduler.

Interesting internet streaming radio stations?

Posted by admin on August 25th, 2011 and filed under streaming radio | 9 Comments »

Looking for some interesting internet streaming radio stations, have a couple of web radios I usually go to stream music online but would like to also discover some new web streaming radios.

What good internet streaming radio stations do you guys like, any favorite web radio suggestions for me?

Love to hear your ideas on some new web streaming radios.
cool, thanks for the tip on that web radio, didn’t know about it.

If you use web streaming radios a lot to stream music online and discover new artists, tracks, music genres and so on, it is going to be useful to have one of them apps that can help you record web streaming radio stations’ music to mp3 music tracks for easier listening and time shifting on mp3 player, or cell phone or on whatever devices you might have round the house.

There is actually some Audials One app that should be helpful for you, I know it has helped me to get my favorite music fast and without any hassle.

Among other hings, it can also record and convert internet radio stations’ music streaming to mp3 songs and save them to your hard disk.

It’s very useful if you get bored fast with the mp3 music downloads from the hard disk, since it gives you a huge opportunity to easily discover music on web streaming radios and time shift it for easier playback.

Should try it.

How much data do I need on iphone to listen to streaming radio?

Posted by admin on August 20th, 2011 and filed under streaming radio | 2 Comments »

I want to get an iphone and listen to sirius satellite radio. I’d probably plug some speakers into the headphone jack and leave it on all night.

I have no idea how "data" works with iphones… i mean, presuming i was doing this every day, wouldn’t that take up a whole lot of data? or is that something different?

if you’re going to leave it on all night, you will definitely need an unlimited data plan which cost $30.00 a month. The only other plan to choose from is $15.00 and that gives you 200 MB a month which will be used in the first few days if you leave it on all night.

on my android nexus one phone, why dose any streaming radio app stop playing/streaming after the screen locks?

Posted by admin on August 18th, 2011 and filed under streaming radio | 1 Comment »

I am on a android nexus one phone running version 2.1. any streaming radio app stops playing/streaming after the screen locks. but it continues playing uninterrupted if the screen stays on. i am getting frustrated over this because its not a connection loss, and i like to listen as i go to sleep. i have tried xiialive, A Online radio, and stream furious.

Try playing music without the screen on and see if that works.

Streaming radio for android that works best on slower networks?

Posted by admin on August 16th, 2011 and filed under streaming radio | 1 Comment »

Truck driver with tmobile here, looking gor android ap streaming radio which will sill work on the edge network

You might want to try Tunein Radio. It allows you to choose the stream you are using. Most stations have streams as low as 32kbps and that should be low enough to work. Higher bit streams should work too, make sure you have background services that use data turned off if you don’t need them.

I found a website that has a radio station that works through the iTunes program, and its streaming. I was wondering can I get it on my ipod nano that I got like 1 year ago? what do I have to do?

No as streaming anything requires an active internet connection, something no nano is able to do.

I would like to allow blind people to use their regular (not cell) phones to listen to a streaming radio stati?

Looking for software or service to allow people to call a phone number and listen to a radio station. This is for those who do not have Internet access. Thanks in advance

Why not get a radio? One with 5 buttons (Fast switching between 5-favorite radio rations) And they should be able to use that fairly easily, and they wouldn’t have to worry about holding a phone to their ear, because that would be really annoying, and they wouldn’t like it.

Is it possible to record to the computers hard drive when listening to streaming radio or other media sources?

like Nutsie or Spotify etc. Is there any free software around to do this. Thanks in advance.
I have tried the software options but cannot get them to work. Is it because I am using Windows 7 (64bit) version?
What is the best software download for the 64 bit option. Again thanks in advance.

You can record any audio you listen on your computer by using streaming audio recorder, its by now the most impressive audio/radio downloader I’ve seen. It can automatically detect and record any streaming audio playing through your PC. This is its official website:
