I need to justify to a fellow staffer why it is not advisable to allow live stream radio to run all day long on her computer workstation. We have an elderly server and also a live database which is a memory hog, but the priority because it is the database of customers. Nothing I say changes this person’s actions, but if I can give her some negative reason why it is bad, it might be helpful. Thanks for any help.

Increasing the memory can help somewhat, but it sounds like whatever you use for radio is not up to the process. It might be better to get a Higher version of media Player or whatever Internet Radio app you have so that it can buffer better

I know of other, cheaper MP3 players that have that function but im wondering if i can get live raidio on my iPod as sometimes i would prefer to listen to the radio.

Yeah, you can. There are 2 products that you can use, griffin ifm or the apple radio remote. Since you live in australia, i don’t know the prices. However, in the u.s., they both cost around $50.

I have heard that there is a radio station where you can listen to the live feed of calls they get, or people at the station telling officers where to go… Etc. Is this true? If so, does any one know the station for Toronto, Ontario?

buy a CB radio and go to channel 19. thats what the police use mostly. sometimes you might get something on 9, but mostly its 19. or just buy a police scanner. theyre cheap, and fun.

Im trying to find where I can listen to dodger games online. Kabc 790 is the station. If you go to their website it says something Else is playing "live" which is BS because I get into my car and its dodger baseball. Where can I listen to LIVE broadcasts online?
