What is the best brand of ipod nano? I want to record live radio station songs but wonder whether the sound?

Posted by admin on December 14th, 2010 and filed under live radio | 1 Comment »

effect is clear and good. I have seen 5th generation Apple ipod nano that comes with a video recording feature – but are there other better brands like Sony well known for its good sound quality and what model are there in the market?

iPods are only made by Apple, however there are other types of mp3 players that do basically the same thing for a lot cheaper. However personally i reccomend you spend a bit more and buy the Apple iPod due to the ease of use, functionality, and ‘coolness’ of having an iPod.

hope this helps.

How can you synchronize sound effects and music with a live radio sketch?

Posted by admin on December 10th, 2010 and filed under live radio | 1 Comment »

So we have to do a simulated radio sketch if front of our english class on the epic poem, Beowulf.

Previous years they used garage band to record and make the sketch with all music and sound effects synced with the dialogue. We have a group of 3, so it is kind of hard to find a way to do this.

The performance must have sounds effects (battle yells, swords clanging , etc) and music (background).

Get a 4th to fire a CD with effects at the proper time.

Has anyone called the DM live radio show or chatted on there website?

Posted by admin on June 25th, 2010 and filed under live radio | 1 Comment »

I went on the website about 2 weeks ago looking for a bit of advice. And the conversation went astray as the person who was talking to me tried to convert me to christianity. Nothing against the religion its just not the religion I follow. Is this something that has only happened to me or has anyone had this kind of negitive experience with them?

I listen to dm live all the time, they are a christian based organization. That is why they tried to share the christian faith with you. I’m sure if you call back and tell them you don’t want religion to be brought up, they would respect that.

- good luck

You should try liteRecorder. This records streaming radio or audio from any streaming videos like YouTube. I’ve tried several programs, and I think you should try at least 3-4 and pick the one you like.

Live internet radio coverage in China for AFL (football) matches?

Posted by admin on June 15th, 2010 and filed under live radio | 4 Comments »

Does anyone know of any sites that have live radio coverage of AFL football matches that I can access in China? Any help would be appreciated.

I believe AFL.com.au has the live radio coverage.

Click on game you want in the bar at the top of the page, and a window should pop up, and when it loads, you can click on the radio station you want.

It applies for all countries.
